Actually, I'm going to take a somewhat more positive Spin
on these, because, coming at this issue from the conventional business plan writing approach, I think the word "lie" is somewhat harsh.I'm going to call these marketing maladies because I think, like a conventional illness in the body, they really make it difficult for your business to operate properly, especially during start-up.
