So, here they are, rephrased somewhat and with some expanded observations, but in Guy's original order. Feel free to add your own contributions in the comment sections below each post. Recognizing the symptoms of some of these maladies will aide in early diagnosis and treatment.
1. Big fancy schmancy columnist will review your product.
Guy uses the example of Wall Street Journal technology columnist Walt Mossberg then observes he only reviews like 50 products a year. Not to take anything away from Mr. Mossberg, but besides the issue of whether he will ever get around to reviewing your new brilliant application, in this media saturated culture my question would be how can you quantify what impact the review will have on sales. Another way to put this question would be "And then what…?"
