11. Make sure you cover all your bases

Does your site have everything a visitor needs to get to know your business? If not, you may loose that visitor quickly.

Entrepreneur Denise Aday identified at least 6 musts while designing her website and another that I personally think is a great idea.

These include:
• a Home or landing page
About
Services or Products
Contact (It's a pet peeve of mine when I can't easily find contact information on a business site)
FAQ's
Comments or testimonials

And number 7, equally important in my view, is a pricing structure. Here's why:

Denise: "This is a tough call for service providers and an individual business decision to make. I think if you can at least provide a ballpark you'll be saving yourself time by eliminating those who have no intention or can't afford to pay your rates."
