A word to the bootstrapper
Now, on the other hand, if you are bootstrapping, you don't have any other choice than investing some of your own money into the business. That's how we started. But from day one, try your best to have a separate business bank account (Editor's note: hmmmm), so at least you know what money comes in. Of course, you will get mixed up a little, and that warning will come when you notice your savings account is heading towards 0 (even if your company makes profit, this doesn't help your own account on the short term).
