And even more mantras! (Relationships key, publisher says)

Publisher and entrepreneur Jeff "Ski" Kinsey offers yet more suggestions for business mantras in our ongoing exercise. (To participate, see this post.)

Jeff is the Big Kahuna at Throughput Press and author of Purple Curve Effect, a book about utilizing constraints management for the entrepreneur and individual. He blogs at Ski on Throughput and Throughput Press Blog.

Jeff's first suggestion is the mantra for his own company created to be the kind of publisher he had been seeking when launching his own first book venture:

Finally-a publisher just for authors seeking to change the world.

Then, a more general suggestion, his personal mantra:

It's relationships, stupid.

I like this one especially, because, for the bootstrap entrepreneur, relationships are a key method of increasing capacity.

Let well funded companies spend capital on assets and personnel that may or may not increase productivity. The bootstrapper must focus on real life models that deliver results first and worry about growth as a long term goal.

Relationships, particularly those with fellow entrepreneurs, can be a key aspect of these real life models by finding others with the capacities you lack to increase your own effectiveness instead of just hiring more staff.
