Ask Google for bootstrap news

If you want to know what other bootstrappers around the world are up to, why not let Google keep track.
Using a service like Google Alerts to create your own bootstrap business feed is one great way to bootstrap your own informational needs.
The alert will keep you in the know not only about each new post here at BootStrapMe.com, but also on any information on bootstrapping anywhere across the world.
Here's how to get started:
• Go to the Google Alert page
• Select your search term (I'd recommend "bootstrap business" to distinguish your search from other contexts in which the term might be used, computers for instance.)
• Select the "comprehensive" option under "Type:" to allow your search to encompass News, blogs, web, video, groups, in short the full range of content on the Internet.
• Select "as-it-happens" unless you would prefer receiving updates only once a day or once a week
• Add your e-mail
Google will send you a confirmation e-mail to get you started and before long you will be receiving up-to-date content worldwide on what's going on in the world of bootstrap business.
Google Alerts are beneficial largely due to their timeliness and the alert seems to locate links not found through a typical search.
The service is still in Beta, but I'm going to assume at least some of it will remain free and is a great way to keep up with what's going on in bootstrap business circles worldwide or in almost any other field of special interest you might enter.
