Blog list
Not too long ago I was asked to do a list of my top five favorite blogs for what will probably be the November issue of Practical eCommerce.
The request got me thinking about the many blogs I see each week in my surfing journeys and the list grew considerably longer than what was needed.
Without revealing my final choices (they aren't included below) here's an abbreviated sample, in no particular order of importance, of both long viewed and recently discovered blogs that I've found useful and why.
• Business Opportunities Blog
The "Bob" blog is, as it's creators explain:
…a more informal way…of communicating how you can get into business and fulfill your goals of being a business owner.
The team responsible for the site have also launched such projects as businessesforsale.com and franchisesales.com and were amongst my earliest friends on the Net when I launched The Upstart Entrepreneur, my first experience in business blogging.
• Fractals of Change
Tom Evslin is a former CEO and entrepreneur who has grown up to be the novelist he always dreamed of being. His insights from the trenches and on the next frontier are amusing, insightful and informed.
• How To Blog For Money
I wish I knew what Paddy Tan seems to about maximizing profit from blogging. A member of the Bootsrapper's Club, he hails from Singapore and takes a nuts and bolts approach to the blogging process and indeed the whole Web 2.0 world that is infectious.
• Feld Thoughts
Because, as a bootstrapper, I like to see how the other half lives, or perhaps because someday I'll need $10 million in venture capital funds, I check in with Brad regularly and am a member of his MyBlogLog Community. I don't know about anyone else, but I kind of think of him as the rock star of VC's and his blog is a window for the outsider into their world.
• Seth's Blog
I guess Seth's blog is on everyone's list. Few photos, no comments just Seth and his observations which I've been reading almost from the time I started doing this. His book, available for download here, is a must for bootstrap entrepreneurs.

A good list of Blogs there, I’m looking for more information on how to promote my business services across the web? I offer management, consultancy and guidance to those who are looking to commit to buying a pub or bar.
