Bootstrap venture gains momentum
Think a bootstrap company can't grab national headlines and adopt a socially conscious philosophy right from the start?

You'd be wrong!

Bootstrap entrepreneur Shelli Styles has done just that and without much more than the investment of some savings she and her husband used to start their unusual company.

Strappity-Do-Da began as a mission to improve the lifestyle of Styles' husband's impoverished relatives in Columbia.

The company just released its new Missy Bra, a compliment to imported hand made beaded bra straps with profits going to improve the lives of the women who created them.

And look at some of the press coverage.
