BootStrapMe Greatest Hits (Vol. 2)
Filed in archive Bootstrapper Tips by Shawn Hessinger on December 30, 2007

As part of our BootStrapMe Greatest Hits series influenced to some extent by Tom Pick's "Top 2007" posts idea, here are some great collections of bootstrapping philosophy we've shared with readers since June 2006.
• Guy Kawasaki's "The Art of Bootstrapping" has had a major influence on the way I view the bootstrap startup approach even if it seems geared specifically for software companies. Here is my point by point review of Guy's key post on the subject at BootStrapMe.com.
• One of my personal heroes Greg Gianforte, founder of RightNow Technologies, has laid out some key reasons why bootstrapping deserves consideration as a way to start a business reposted here in an early entry at BootStrapMe.com with a link to a great interview with Greg at Forbes.com.
• Here's a series of posts that got me into plenty of hot water with some readers based on a post by Dane Carlson. The true idea of the posts was not to encourage unsound business practices, of course, but simply to put things into perspective when it comes to business startup. Read the articles...and the cranky comments!
• Here's one of two posts from a "seaside reflections" series I wrote at the seashore in August on "Five ways for the bootstrapper to greet the new day." Hope you find it helpful.
• And another post from the series about the difference the bootstrapping approach can make in your business startup.
Be sure to book mark these posts and return often and help spread the idea of bootstrapping in your business circles.
