The newer project, adorablylocal.com, markets baby attire with a decidedly local flair including designs featuring Santa Barbara area code 805.

"Preggers takes me so national that I wanted something that would bring me back to the community," O'Callaghan said.

The attire line includes clothing with inside jokes unique to the area like one announcing "Doing the State Street Crawl", referring to the street in Santa Barbara known for its bars frequented by college kids after hitting 21.

"Santa Barbara is such a tight knit community," O'Callaghan explains.

The new line attempts to make that community spirit a marketing commodity, and O'Callaghan and Gaynes hope to expand to other communities like San Francisco and New York if the concept proves successful.

Still, O'Callaghan maintains her own unique vision and definition of success for her new business and for www.preggersnproud.com.

"I never wanted it in Target or WalMart. I wanted to keep a bit more of its exclusivity," she said.
