The story of PrintingforLess.com begins in Livingston, MT, a community of 6,851 situated on the Yellowstone River north of Yellowstone National Park and the seat of Park County.

It is a community Field insists his company is every bit as "fired up" about as it is about the success of its clients.

Field's printing company, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary, began simply enough with a fishing trip and a discussion amongst friends.

A pal who worked at an in-house printing operation at a company soon to outsource such services and shut its plant, suggested Field return to the printing business after experience in high school followed by stints as a press operator in Minneapolis and Los Angeles.

Field himself had begun yearning for new challenges after some time spent in a business related to the Auto repair industry.

"So my buddy needed a job and I was bored," said Field about how he first started his more conventional printing operation in 1996.
