The business began specializing in serving the needs of people who didn't necessarily have access to the standard professional printing software, but none-the-less were seeking professional results on their projects.
At the same time PrintingForLess.com began increasing its online offerings with a website assembled by Field's old press operator friend, who had started learning web design on the side.
Field started the company's online offerings with a single employee taking orders over the phone part-time while also running a press.
All the while, he used the steady income from his more conventional printing operations to build the online side of the business which today totally eclipses the original, employing 50 and processing hundreds of orders a day.
"That's how you bootstrap," he explained.
