Bootstrappers should keep finances separate

(Editor's Note: Romanian entrepreneur Cristian Dorobantescu was a bit trepidatious about writing the series of guest posts that follow.
They discuss the importance of keeping personal and business finances separate especially for the bootstrap entrepreneur, and Cristian was worried in light of this post based in turn on some thoughts by Dane Carlson and the controversy that ensued.
But as I've explained before, I've got no problem with keeping business and personal finances separate. I just don't see the need to open a business account before you've made your first buck.
Still, Cristian's got some good points here. Besides, what's a blog without a little controversy?)
