Bootstrapping with creative ventures
Filed in archive Bootstrapper Tips on November 11, 2006
In line with our previous seven posts, artist and entrepreneur Tony D. Clark of "Success from the Nest" has some interesting things to say about launching a creative venture.
Of course, for those with creative inclinations from writing to artistic talent and beyond, such a venture can be the ultimate in bootstrapping since it can sometimes be started with little more than the talent the entrepreneur already possesses.
In his first podcast for Creative Ventures on the Grasshopper New Media Network, Clark discusses balancing the personal versus practical aspects of such an endeavor and the importance of identifying the driver or drivers that compel the creative entrepreneur to do what he/she does.
Listen to "Why the Creative Venture Podcast Exists" Episode One of Clark's new series for grasshopper here and learn more about the network itself using new media tools to advance conversations on business, health and parenting here and here.
