So to review, while it's certainly not a small business, a church or other religious group can take some cues from the bootstrap approach.

• Use blogging and any other low cost communications technology you can find to stay in touch-Yahoo! and MSN Groups are also options here, but the idea is to create a system that not only keeps members informed at a low cost but also helps other potential members and friends in the community learn about you.

• Use PayPal, Print on demand and any other options you can think of to gain donations and run fundraisers-The suggestions in this post are just a starting point and you should definitely always be on the lookout for other opportunities and options.

• Use print on demand technology to create individualized music and liturgy resources-It can also be used to create and offer to the public music or other recorded messages associated with your religious group, a possible option for fundraisers or just spreading the word.
