Connectors key in bootstrapping

Still, not only those with a product or service to sell or job to offer are welcome on LeadVine.
In fact, the very concept behind the network is that some members of the community with nothing to buy or sell may act as a bridge between the two.
"Our initial thing is just getting the word out," said co-founder Allan Margate in a recent interview after the launch of the new community.
The folks who do so and who bridge the gap between buyers and sellers are connectors, Margate says.
The term comes from the book "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell and, in this case, refers to a person whose network of social connections link sellers and buyers.
