Do your kids bootstrap?
Filed in archive Bootstrapper Tips by Shawn Hessinger on December 07, 2007

I've come to believe that bootstrapping, like values/habits/ideals can be taught. So, if you are a bootstrap entrepreneur, would you teach those qualities to your children.
Here's a video about teaching entrepreneurship to young children.
While it need not necessarily mean your children will be self-employed (see the previous post), here are some ways the ideals of bootstrapping can be passed on to the next generation:
• Teach self reliance.
• Stress personal responsibility.
• Emphasize value.
• Push innovation.
• Honor creativity.
Good ingredients for anyone's children. Have something too add, Leave a comment or link to this site, let me know and I'll give you a back link.
