Emergency Cash Loans Save the Day

So I'm sitting in Estonia at a technology conference focused on Europe's startup scene. Things are going well. The coffee's good. The people are friendly. And I'm contemplating an excursion into Finland before I head home at the end of this, just to do some sightseeing.
Then I get a text message from my wife, asking about the credit card and why it's maxed out. I'm surprised. We keep something close to a zero balance and we have a $50 thousand line of credit on it. The speaker is outlining the finer points or cloud storage in Europe. I step out to call my credit card company.
After a little frustration and three phone calls I learn that I've purchased a new BMW and put it on my card (which of course I wouldn't actually do). And it seems that for the next day or two my one and only credit card is going to be of little use while the account is straightened out.
I don't give a lot of thought to Emergency Cash Loans on an everyday basis, but it's nice to know they exist. One of my people in my office at home borrowed a couple of thousand bucks and wired it to me.
No trip to Finland this weekend…
