Employee commitment in bootstrapped versus externally funded companies (Part 2)

CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS POST

Now that we have established the basics, here is the idea: from my experience, self-funded companies tend to have higher commitment, more reliable and more faithful employees.

First of all, bootstrapped companies start small and stay small for a good time, mostly because they can't spent more than they are cashing in on getting employees.

Working on a small group, 3-4 maybe 5 people - you will have more than just employees there. External funded companies could bring entire groups of new employees at once - not really good for bonding friendships and team commitments.
