Employee or Entrepreneur? The Pros and Cons of Self-Employment
Filed in archive Philosophy on July 12, 2009
J.D. at Get Rich Slowly recently took an interesting look at the pros and cons of self-employment. His perspective is especially interesting because his blog is not about bootstraping - or any other kind of entrepreneurship. It's just about personal finance...Although I tend toward entrepreneurial endeavors, I don't consider myself a die-hard entrepreneur.... I've had jobs I loved and jobs I hated, and many that just paid the bills. I've also tried self-employment twice: once as a computer consultant, and now as a professional blogger.
J.D. answers some specific questions about the difference between working for yourself and working for someone else. It's an interesting read...

Nice, thanks for sharing the article. It was a good read. I think nowadays it's definitely easy for any entrepreneur to market themselves well on the Internet. For example, anyone can create a video that people will want to watch and put it up on YouTube, Vimeo, and AdWido.
