This used Xerox portable black and white copier had a starting bid of just $.01 with no takers so far and 28 minutes, 10 seconds left at an eBay auction Thursday afternoon.

Even with a shipping cost of $40 the item remained way below its $449 market price and even a $99.99 bargain price at buymebuyme.com.

Just a short while earlier a digital postal scale went for just $3.25 at the online auction site, a steal even with a $16.90 shipping and handling cost when you consider a market value of $119.95.

What if you could outfit your bootstrap start-up business with cheap office equipment simply by hitting these last minute auctions all the time until you had everything you needed at a fraction of what it would cost at the office supply store?

Now, you can, thanks to lastminute-auction.com, a site that trawls the massive eBay site to locate those items being offered for less than a buck with less than an hour remaining in their auctions.

Company co-founder Mike Powell told Local 12 WKRC TV Cincinnati.
