Get cheap business stuff at last minute auctions

This used Xerox portable black and white copier had a starting bid of just $.01 with no takers so far and 28 minutes, 10 seconds left at an eBay auction Thursday afternoon.
Even with a shipping cost of $40 the item remained way below its $449 market price and even a $99.99 bargain price at buymebuyme.com.
Just a short while earlier a digital postal scale went for just $3.25 at the online auction site, a steal even with a $16.90 shipping and handling cost when you consider a market value of $119.95.
What if you could outfit your bootstrap start-up business with cheap office equipment simply by hitting these last minute auctions all the time until you had everything you needed at a fraction of what it would cost at the office supply store?
Now, you can, thanks to lastminute-auction.com, a site that trawls the massive eBay site to locate those items being offered for less than a buck with less than an hour remaining in their auctions.
Company co-founder Mike Powell told Local 12 WKRC TV Cincinnati.
Someone sent an e-mail because they found a guitar and couldn't believe it.
Entrepreneurs looking for a great deal can click on "Business" and choose from a variety of sub-categories. (I looked under "Office Printing Shipping"to locate the above mentioned items.)
And, of course, there are many other categories, sometimes up to 20 thousand items on a weekend, Powell told the TV station.

Here’s another good resource for rooting out some of the very best last minute ebay auction bargains. It’s similar to the one mentioned, but I like it better. It is text only, so no annoying flashing banners or graphics, so loads faster. I’ve got it bookmarked and check it frequently when I’m shopping for something, or just for browsing. You never know what cool items will come up that you can snatch up for pennies.
