Is your business going the wrong way?

First of all, if all this takes more than a year, it's a clear sign you're not heading in the right direction - your business is not profitable enough to sustain itself - (or in some cases, it was supposed to work like that and this could be ok). And second, you will end up not knowing how much you have put in, how profitable your business is and if you made a buck or not in the end. Not knowing if you made a buck is actually very bad, but hey, entrepreneurs are daydreamers. Having partners (that's supposed to make things easier as they could come with their share of investment) could actually be worse. You will end up not knowing who's money is in and this could lead to serious problems if money (profit) ever hits you in the process.
