Among the most important resources for the bootstrap entrepreneur are an inexpensive way to connect with customers and with other entrepreneurs and a source of inexpensive information when growing your venture.
JumpUp.com, the former JackRabbit, from Intuit offers both these resources in abundance. Key features of the site include:
• An on line forum to network with other entrepreneurs
• Member contacts to help locate others in a similar business or industry
• Free tools like online cash flow and start up calculators
• Promotion and visibility through small business spotlights and other features
Other content includes information on how to start a business, tools and services, a community section and small business news.
Though some of the stuff here includes training programs for which there are fees much of the information is free as is membership and visibility for your business.
