Starting a Small Business is Getting Easier

Starting a small business is getting a little easier now that the Recession is letting up some. PEHub pointed out recently that startups are making it through to the IPO stage in bigger numbers now than they were last year. More new businesses are succeeding – making it through to profitability and to a good return on investment.
I've seen a lot of blog posts in the last year about how the Recession provided opportunities for savvy entrepreneurs. Those of us who are entrepreneurs (but may be not so savvy) are glad the Recession is coming to an end. Be whatever kind of gung-ho entrepreneur commando you like. would you rather go for a walk on a sunny day, or in a hail storm? It's easier to succeed in good times than in bad times.
BusinessWeek had an article last week about why President Obama's economic plans were working. Let's hope that those plans keep working.
