Imagine sitting at the cash register of a newly opened retail establishment and glancing up at the clock on the wall hour after hour as not a single customer enters the store.
You've invested a whole lot of time and effort, but let's hope not too much money (remember the bootstrapper's ethic), and are understandably disappointed to see no one--not a single person-show the slightest interest in your new enterprise.
