Surprised by customers (Part 5)
CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS POST
At first, limited reaction and an uncertainty about the direction the new venture would take (read more about this in future posts as well) led to limited involvement on my part and I was frankly less than thrilled with the site's early performance.
I had set a goal with all my sites (due in part to a disappointing experience earlier with a prominent online ad service that I will not mention here) to concentrate on content and traffic first, trusting that I could monetize the site if it began performing well enough.
