Entrepreneurship
by Shawn Hessinger on December 19, 2006

Starting yesterday, the concept was for each of the participants (Ben is hoping for 50) to write at least one post about what they've learned this year.
There are prizes as well:
• Two signed copies of Phil Gerbyshak's book 10 Ways To Make It Great
• randy Komisar's The Monk and the Riddle: The Art of Creating a Life While Making a Living
• What No One Ever Tells You About Blogging and Podcasting: Real-Life Advice from 101 People who Successfully Leverage the Power of the Blogosphere, a book by Ted Demopoulos offering the observations of Seth Godin and Guy Kawasaki among others
• And Marketing Outrageously from the author of Ice to the Eskimos: How to Market a Product Nobody Wants Jon Spoelstra
In a more recent addendum, Ben also added two new prizes:
• Buzzoodle Buzz Marketing: 57 Word of Mouth Marketing Challenges for the Entire Workforce by Ron McDaniel of Buzzoodle
• $5 for every post written to the The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation and The Montreal Gazette Christmas Fund
Well, I've never won anything in my life (get out your wallet, Ben), but I figured 'What the hell. It'll be fun.'
There's still time to get involved. Ben's deadline is Dec. 24 for posts to run, and he's guaranteed to send traffic your way as long as you follow the instructions above.
So, here goes. The ten things I've learned this year in ten posts over the next couple of days.
