The jury's still out

Now, mind you, I'm not completely sold yet. One reason is that I don't have a smart phone and, though some of the routing features intrigue me, I'm not clear how many can also be delivered by a cheaper system. Say, GotVMail, for example.

However, ConnectMe Mobile has offered to set me up with a Beta account as well and I'll be posting occasionally on my findings as I use some of the features. Stay tuned for further developments.

Shawn, one of the apparent features that (as I review potentially subscribing to ConnectMe Mobile) intrigues me is the no-per-minute flat rate when using a local number vs. toll-free. I used GotVmail previously and it does what it says. The issue with services like that (I used ESA the Electronic Secretarial Assistant years and years ago as my first virtual/ipbx service) are the inbound/outbound charges. You’re charged when the call connects, when you forward it, when you check your voice mail from a phone, etc. ConnectMe Mobile has apparently overcome that and if this is the case, would make it more economical them many others. If the features are all they tout them to be, CAN I GET AN AMEN?!?

    Thanks,
    Guy T.
