Bootstrapper Tips
by Shawn Hessinger on April 5, 2008

So how do you bring in all this wonderful money without outside investment? How do you make money without spending money?
Well, an increasing number of on line tools exist to help generate revenue even from a source as low startup as a niche blog and possibilities go well beyond AdSense and other on line ad options.
While inexpensive ad services are certainly the easiest, most inexpensive and low effort way of getting started, too many just don't generate much money for a blogger starting with lower traffic numbers.
Here are some ways you can sell the content you create on line instead of just giving it away for free.
• Sell your photos. If you regularly take photos with your digital camera, you can post those photos on line (often at no cost) with sites like ShowMeProof.com and Shutterpoint and be paid every time someone downloads your image
• Sell personally created objects. T-shirts, mugs and other memorabilia can be created easily at sites like CafePress.com with easy-to-use upload software at no cost
• Make more of your writing. If you're already writing for your blog on a topic of expertise, why not collect your work and sell published copies using print on demand technology at sites like Lulu.com.
• Share your audio, video. If you create audio or video associated with your blog, be it music, short-films, interviews or informational, sites like Musicane make it cheap and easy to offer your work for sale even from your own website.
Other options like promoting related eBay auctions and drop shipping options also exist. Look for the right money making options for your business today.
